As a meteor is set to hit Earth, the government offers a peaceful way out—and a final date. Oscar and his new girlfriend, Tess, return to his childhood home to spend the last week with his mother, Bunny. As Bunny’s memory falters, she drifts between past and present, forgetting the fate that awaits them and returning again and again to the murky swimming pool out back—a pool she has long believed is cursed, and which, despite years of care, refuses to stay clean.
